Professionally it's been a fascinating year for me and one where I have predominately spent on contract at Barclays PLC. I've enjoyed my time here working on software and intranet interfaces as well as a carrying out the user experience for a data-visualisation-piece related to a security software.  

 

My current contract comes to an end towards the mid/latter part of January 2016, and I have decided it's time to move on to pastures new.  Not sure what is next, as I have a few weeks of travel before I can commence something new. I may look to take out some more time out post my travels. Post my first blog it has literally got busy, busy, busy.  I am going to put a plan together so that I better schedule posts here.  

 

These past 6 months have suddenly got very, very busy for me, and I can't seem to say this without it sounding like an excuse.  

 

I am coming into my 15th year of working as a UX consultant in 2016, so I have lots to share!

I feel like my career has come full circle. Starting out it was about understanding user needs to create physical products and today it is to understand user needs to create websites and digital interfaces.  In this journey I have moved from the physical 3D space to the 2D internet / interface world.  It's been an interesting journey so far.

Who is Kaizen UCD

Kaizen was founded and is led by me, Pav Chahal.  With over 16+ years of experience in User Experience led projects (from product development to website and interface architecture) I have worked with a range of industries and clients. 

 

Kaizen UCD is a small run setup because I have consciously choosen to hire in the right personnel (design, technology and build) if required, or work on my own.
